What is the Forum?
It is not a conference; there will be no ‘talking heads’ or PowerPoint presentations. Instead, each year the Forum’s Steering Committee welcomes up to 48 estate planning and litigation professionals personally selected from leading law firms to meet and discuss the most pressing issues facing their clients.
April 22-24, 2018
An excellent facility which allows colleagues to freely exchange ideas, test theories and challenge the way in which estate law is practical. The dialogue was thoughtful, provocative, compelling, free-wheeling, fast-paced and never dull. It allows lawyers to listen to the experience of others, to see that there are different ways to accommodate client’s needs and to also accept that there is no “perfect” practice. I feel recharged, invigorated and relaxed, ready to return to my desk and the challenges that await me."
This is a different event, unlike any you’ve attended
For the 5th year, the Forum brings together highly regarded estate planners and litigators, as well as a select group of gerontologists from across Canada.
"Excellent opportunity to engage in lively, topical discussions on estate, trust and capacity issues on a high level with colleagues from different geographical locations across Canada and from different disciplines (e.g. law, psychiatry)."

"Wonderful and very informative event. Highly experienced practitioners and presenters. The roundtable discussion format was very effective at bringing forth a full discussion of the topic areas. Highly recommend attendance to those who practice significantly in the estate planning and litigation field."
