What is the Forum?
The Steering Committee welcomes 48 estate planning and litigation professionals from leading law firms across Canada to meet and discuss the most pressing issues in planning and litigation facing their clients today.
A select few gerontologists join the discussion to provide first-hand information of capacity-related considerations for clients. Using candid, seminar-style discussions at this annual meeting, the group examines, amongst other things, capacity assessments of aging clients, vulnerability and new developments in case law.
Location: Cambridge, Ontario

The Forum is an excellent venue and the topics and discussion were extremely helpful regardless of jurisdiction. The honest communication and issue identification was validating and has engaged me to revisit my practice management and techniques with new perspective. Again, I appreciate the candour and thoughtful discussion."
This is a different event, unlike any you’ve attended
For the 7th year, the Forum brings together highly regarded estate planners and litigators, as well as a select group of gerontologists from across Canada.
"Excellent opportunity to engage in lively, topical discussions on estate, trust and capacity issues on a high level with colleagues from different geographical locations across Canada and from different disciplines (e.g. law, psychiatry)."
